THE WAYS TO IMPROVE THE MANAGEMENT OF INVESTMENT ATTRACTIVENESS IN FOOD INDUSTRY COMPANIES

Abstract

The article deals with the ways of improving the investment attractiveness of the food industry in Ukraine.
The article observes possible ways of improvement and problems that rise as a result of invest-ment attractiveness of Ukrainian enterprises, caused by the fast changing environment factors and difficult macroeconomic situation in Ukraine in the food industry. Therefore, management technologies and scien-tific developments regarding previous years of investment attractiveness of enterprises is not always pos-sible to use the conditions of the economy today.
Based on data from the State Statistics Service for the years 2013-2015 we analyzed the perfor-mance of capital investment in the production of food.
The origin of most urgent problems related with the present investment into food industry have been discussed. The nature of each problem has been given the likely causes and commented on.
Analysis of these problems allowed to form an innovative approach to find ways of increasing in-vestment attractiveness. Key positions of this approach are:
- use of management consulting as a tool to increase competitiveness, and hence investment at-tractiveness;
- formation of investment strategy for enterprises, which will allow to approach the issues of in-vestment attractiveness systematically;
- will help production quality management to meet the standards to potential investors;
- will create a mechanism of effective interaction between investors and public authorities.
The advantages of this approach are that it is systematic and its indifference to the industry divi-sion, which makes it useful for any enterprise in the sector of the food industry.
